ways to generate insights and leverage new technologies and translate these into
recommendations for improvement with our customers as well drive the development of our

Commercial Data Analyst (BI) Role

  • Translating business logic and rules into commercial data model
  • Support in data integration & warehousing
  • Developing and building actionable insights reporting and dashboard
  • Support our clients with their analytical needs and implementation of Sposea products
  • Support the consultants with insights development and recommendations from big data

Your Profile

  • Organised & focussed
  • Collaborative: able to build strong relationships with relevant stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
  • Able to advice and influence stakeholders based on analytical insights
  • Ability to work with and challenge colleagues
  • Effective team working; able to encourage teamwork
  • Keen to learn and develop further in the field of business analytics
  • Have a good sense of humour

Education Level

  • Preferable background in a commercial environment with a sound understanding of commercial processes and procedures
  • Ideally a minimum of 1-2 years in a Commercial/Financial environment
  • Previous Analytical (Commercial) role experience essential
  • Project support experience desirable
  • Preferable background in change/improvement environments
  • Mastery of one the main BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) and the willingness to develop and learn the other tools

  • Self-management, flexible prioritisation, planning and monitoring own activity with a high level of drive and determination especially required as other team members may be located in other countries/regions
  • Experience of working with large amounts of complex data
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
  • Commercial & Financial awareness (Commercial Processes & Financial understanding to include ability to review P&L statements and Sales/Commercial Reporting)
  • Project Management methodology understanding and awareness
  • Effective teamwork & organisational ability
  • Analytical skills; accuracy and attention to detail whilst maintaining the oversight on the main matters at hand
  • Confident with IT packages and platforms such as SAP, CRM
  • SQL, Python/R knowledge desirable
  • Fluent in English
